Sup!

So, we got October Event confirmed. What do you think, will we see any new AirPods? If so what's your guess will they come with?

I will definitely get a new pair as I have still the wired one and had before them the Bose Soundsport, but they crashed somehow.

AirPods 2 will be released next year. However, if Apple release the AirPower at the end of October event then they will release AirPods with a wireless charging case.

Next year. AirPods are still selling really well and tell you the truth, the planned upgrades don’t sound like they’ll make a huge difference in he experience. I can already walk all over both floors of my house while leaving my phone stationary and not lose signal. Wireless charging is a nice feature but, they charge so quickly it really doesn’t matter. “Hey siri” is also something that wouldn’t entice me much.

Im voting no. I feel like there are improvement opportunities for the device, but the current ones still work great. I dont predict they will uveil them on the tail end of a huge iPad upgrade event.

I don’t think they will announce a 2nd gen AirPods but I hope they do. I’ve had my pair since launch and the batteries are struggling big time.

Wow crazy. Now you guys make me buy the current one :D Your arguments are totally valid.

Not really sure how they have improve the AirPods.

A wireless charging case and that’s it really but even that isn’t much of an improvement.

That's not Airpods 2 though. It's just an updated case with the same Airpods.

But they may change plans by the time that case becomes available - Airpods 2 may be out by then, so they may package the wireless case with Airpods V2...who knows...

Well, they’ve released it almost two years ago, so Apple Store won’t do anything.

They did with mine, but we have an extra years warranty here thanks to our consumer law. Not sure how it is over there.

I'd call up Apple Support first & see what they say.

I only want GPS added to each Airpod so I can find those F-ers when I lost them.

My wife lost one of them a while ago... Been waiting for the refresh to get a new pair instead of dropping the cash for a replacement AirPod...

I'm not buying another pair unless they release an AppleCare+ for AirPods. The batteries just run down too quickly.
