Yeah I guess shipments are different. I just called my local store in NE Florida again and they didn't get their shipment yet. Some guy that was wanting to get them at 10am today the manager told him to come to the store at 10am today and should have them.. This was yesterday he was told so who knows.

I can't confirm but I was near the Manhasset store and I was able to do a self checkout for the wireless version.

Good to hear.. How do you get thru at an local apple store and actually speak to a sales rep at the store? I always get routed to someone in the 800 customer service area.

For anyone else in the same boat, I’m going to be checking the Walnut Creek, CA Apple Store at 10 AM.

Just got back. Lynnfield, MA (closest to my workplace)... in and out in under 5 minutes. A bunch of other people there too just purchasing the AirPods. My case is currently on my Qi charger!

Although last week I ordered for delivery already, I just ordered another pair of Airpods for local pickup in the Seattle area. Every store in the Seattle area has stock for pick up when I ordered around 11am today.

Apple retail is a mess.
My online order won’t ship until April.
I hear there are some units in central London stores, will they let me reserve or purchase for in store collection? Nope. That would be too convenient

They had a dozen or so each out on a table downstairs. Picked up a wireless charge version at around 9:30, and they were bringing new ones out in a bag while I was paying.

Website still says available for pickup today at Union Sq

While my order is preparing for shipment (April 2-5th delivery window), I ended up ordering a pair for pick-up at my local Apple Store today since they just became available. I tried to cancel the delivery but can't since it's PFS, so I chatted with Apple Support who will try to intercept the delivery..otherwise, I'll take the delivered pair to the Apple Store as soon as I receive them for a return.

Anyone else in the same boat?
