I placed the case with AirPods on my Mophie charger and the mophie charger light comes on along with the orange light on the AirPods for about 10 seconds. The Mophie charger light stays on like it does when charging my iPhone. Been sitting on the charger 20 mins and the case is still stuck at 74%. Charges fine with the lighting cable. Maybe it's not compatible with the Mophie?

I heard you can charge using your Apple Watch charger. (If you have one to try)

Just tried no go. Something tells me these things are going to be very finicky with certain chargers.

I tried to charge mine on a Qi charger I use my iphone on. Charges with a green blinking as iphone does, for about 5 seconds..then the green blink turns to red. Stops charging...

Mine charges fine on a cheap wireless charger that I had purchased on Amazon. But the charging seems to be quite slow, not that I care too much about that....around 1% per minute

I’m testing it now. It’s a bit confusing that the light on the AirPods goes off after a few seconds. My charger lights up green when I put them on it and the iPhone shows in the dashboard that the case is charging. Let‘s see if it actually will go up after a while. Where is our AirPower???

Update: Mine are definitely charging on a Belkin wireless charger. Not too fast, but they're charging. But now I REALLY want the airpower, it's frustrating not to be able to charge both devices at the same time.

I seem to be having better luck with the 2 wireless chargers I have. I find its finicky and has to be placed in the exact middles of the pad and then it charges fine. Otherwise the light on the charger stays on for a few mins then goes off and nothing happens. I have another pair coming today (I got impatient and went to the Apple store yesterday.) I'm wondering if I should bother opening and trying that one or this is just the way they are. It seems ore finicky with the position the the iPhone.

I have a super cheap dual coil wireless charger that I have been using for my iPhone. With the two coils it charges the phone in portrait and landscape. That lower, landscape coil is what allows me to flip the case upside-down and rest it on the lip. Super easy, not finicky and works every time.

Was worried at first that I would have to prop the case up a bit, but nope. Human problem solving prevails, 2001 Space Odyssey theme song came on and I slowly rotated the case upside and lowered it to the charger and just as the music crescendoed, the lights came on and charging began. It was magical...

Keep in mind, the light on the airpods case, goes out after a few seconds, once it starts charging. Check the status on your phone. Plus, the airpods case only charges at 5 watts, so don't expect super fast charging...Probably slower if have a case on the charger with a depleted battery , and the airpods in them, that need to be charged as well...Not sure which get priority in that case...my guess would be the airpods, then the case...

Mine are not charging wirelessly. I set the case down on my mophie charger and the led on the mophie that normally illuminates (when charging my XS) by staying solid instead blinks continuously. Checking the battery level after an extended period of time shows that the battery level has actually dropped.

Interesting experience that I thought I'd share. Got mine yesterday. Immediately put them on a 5W Anker wireless charging pad. Lights came on on the case as expected and stayed on at the pad. After 30 minutes, even though the case was warm, the AirPods themselves were charged, the case remained at 70%. Tried another 10W Anker stand, same result. Tried my wife's Samsung 5W pad, same result. Finally gave up (somewhat) and plugged them into a lightning cable where immediately the case went up by a percent and kept charging.

For giggles, I then put the case back on the original Anker pad and sure enough they charged fully in reasonable period of time.

Not sure what that was about but happy, nevertheless.

I'm using the mophie wireless charger, and the AirPods are charging fine, even with a silicon case on it.

Same issue here, I'm using the Anker Powerwave 7.5W wireless charger. However, it does work but it's been stuck on the same percentage over 30 minute then went up for 2 points and at some point I get the blinking light. I may consider returning these. I ordered the one with out the wireless charging case to be picked up today, and I may just return the Airpods with wireless charging case one.

Its very unreliable for me with 2 chargers that work fine with the iphones. I got another pair coming in today and if they behave the same way then its just a crappy design. Ill report back.

Ok I got the second pair and same issue. What I have discovered as long as the airpods themselves are 100% charged the case charges more reliable. If not then the charger sometimes doesn't charge at all or the light on the charger shuts of.

Remember, the case maxes out at 5 watts for wireless charging, so it’s not going to be quick...I believe the way the case and AirPods charge, with wireless charging is this after doing some quick tests...

If the case needs charging as well as the AirPods, then the AirPods get priority and get charged first. Once they are at 100%, then the case will start charging itself. Which makes sense because you want to be able to use the AirPods as soon as possible, say if they have died from a low battery...If the AirPods are fully charged, then the case will only charge itself. What may make it really slow is that the 5 watts is evenly split between the case and the AirPods, then the whole process will be really slow for both to charge...

Beyond that, the only annoying thing which makes no sense at all is why does the light on the case go out after a few seconds, either charging by lightning or wireless?!!? What makes sense is if it’s orange and stays orange while charging then switches to green when done...

AirPods 2 Wireless Case doesn't seem to change from my cheap from Amazon RavPower Fast Charge Wireless Charging Pad Model RP-PC063. It's a 10W max charger that seems to charge the iPhone and the Smart Battery case fine.
