Yes the AirPod case is more finicky then phones and other wireless charging devices. Was able to replicate with 2 sets of AirPods and 2 different chargers.

got mine yesterday...is the light on the airpod case supposed to stay lit ? when i place mine on wireless charger is lights up for about 30 secs and then goes off...i thought the status light stayed on all the time?

I placed the case with AirPods on my Mophie charger and the mophie charger light comes on along with the orange light on the AirPods for about 10 seconds. The Mophie charger light stays on like it does when charging my iPhone. Been sitting on the charger 20 mins and the case is still stuck at 74%. Charges fine with the lighting cable. Maybe it's not compatible with the Mophie?

I have the Mophie. Lights behave like yours.

However it did charge AirPods and case to 100%.

Fortunately I didn't go with the wireless charging case. But I'm disappointed with the overall sound quality of the AirPods. It can't be used outdoors.

I have both the Belkin Boost up and Mophie charging base sold by Apple and they both work with the wireless case. I even have a leather case with a loop in the back and it still works.

Just got my AirPods 2 and my ravpower was blinking red.

Seems like you have to place the AirPods over the “POWER” of the “ravPOWER” but it’s still finicky :/ is there a wireless pad that y’all recommend?

Same problem with the Mophie sold by Apple. Same problem with the Aukey usb-c.
Which wireless charger can charge the Airpods 2 case?

I tried to charge mine on a Qi charger I use my iphone on. Charges with a green blinking as iphone does, for about 5 seconds..then the green blink turns to red. Stops charging...
I just bought some Airpods 2 yesterday and I'm having the same issue. My QI charges my iPhone X just fine. I have contacted Apple and chatting with them now. I will let you know.

I had a AirPod 2 case fail to charge. The actual earphones would charge, but not the case. Even when using the Lightning cable. So took it to Genius Bar and they tried - never saw the issue where the case had a flashing LED when attempting to charge. They replaced my AirPod 2 Wireless case with a replacement. So far so good. No issues since.

Hi! Did you get any response on this? I"m having the same issue and also going to contact Apple.

I have the same issue.. I just got my AirPods Yesterday.

My wireless charging case does not charge with Mophie (from apple) or other two amazon charging pads.. although all of these pads charge iPhone 11 fine. for Mophie the front LED flash and then turn off . the light in the case never comes on ( no green or orang) yet the case works fine with USB-C charging.
I contacted apple, they said they will send me a replacement
I think it is an issue that becoming common many people complain about
I'm just sad that I engraved my name on the old one and the replacment one they will send will have no engraving.. I wish at least the replacement one will works fine and not dysfunctional.

Any news? It can be interesting to know if this affect all Airpods box or not.

Macsar, did you received your new one? Is it working better?

Hi
I have the not charging on a pad issue with the AirPods pro case but does charge via lightening. If I put a peice of card on the Qi pad and place the AirPods case on top it charges with no issue.

Regards

Josh

Used this charger with the AirPods 2. Would not consistently charge. Returned the charger to Amazon. Figured it was the charger but now it seems this is a problem with many AirPods??? (Also hated the constant blinking light of the charger regardless.)
