So I just spoke with AT&T again and a rep from the order mgmt team said they do NOT have the AirPods in stock and are working to get the website fixed. Orders will be cancelled. She said the AirPods are "end of life" for AT&T and you must order through apple.com. They are not getting anymore.

LOL - This is a mess. I honestly do not know what to believe.
 
Lol the guy earlier today told me they had 900 in stock. But another rep told me pretty much what you just said. I have no idea who to believe anymore. But people who ordered today are seeing them ship??

It is so weird. Not sure why they haven't corrected the website to show out of stock. It cannot be that hard.

I actually just received my shipping notification email from Verizon. The arrive Thursday. :D

I will be cancelling my new AT&T order. Hopefully those pre-authorizations fall off quickly.

If anyone sees them in stock on Verizon please let me know. I have the notifications set up but in case they don't work, someone reply here or PM me.
 
The att rep I spoke with this morning was very knowledgeable and stated they had 900 pairs in stock at the time of my call. Stock is not the reason for the cancellation. There's something else wrong here and they had no idea what it was.
Is the credit card you are using the same as the shipping address. They do not not ship to anything other than the credit card address and wireless account billing address.

For me it was all the same. Address for shipping and billing all matched the address on the AT&T wireless account I was logged into when I placed the order.

Same card and same address I have used to order iPhones for years from AT&T. Its inexcusable and AT&T has no explanation.

Yea. I had an old att account with a diff address in their system. But I checked out as a guest and that account was deactivated long ago. They ruled that out as the cause. It's gotta be their system screwing up. F them and their system.

Yea gotta be a bug. I wanted my things shipped to my work so i changed my billing and credit card to my work address and it worked for me. Cant believe it's so hard just to place an order.
 
My authorizations finally dropped off my other two accounts. Waiting for the ones that are left to cancel this morning as I'm sure they will
 
I have just received an email from AT&T saying they have received my order. Is this a sign that they will be shipped soon? I hope so.
 
lol canceled at 11:00 am on the dot as expected. only thing they advised me to do over and over again is to go into an at&t store and have them order them for me.

Same here lol I have no open orders with AT&T. They cancelled all of them.

Their social media dept told me to call them again this morning because she had an update on why it was canceling after speaking with their order dept. I called again, knowing it's gonna be the same run around, and sure enough she told me the same crap she did yesterday. They advised me to go to the store and have them verify my identity. I was like seriously. This "info" again? Screw you att.
