Hi, I got a second Airpods Max few hours ago. I found that the Noise Control button does not work half of the time. Moreover, at least when connecting to Windows 10 PC, either no sound or jitter so bad that the music paused many times a second. Anybody else has such issues?

Why the QC for this headphone is so bad? Bought two and both have issues.

If by "jittering" you mean the audio rapidly cuts in and out, then yes, I've had that issue when using them AirPods Max with my iPhone.

A new AirPods Max firmware version is out today, and I'm hoping that takes care of the problem.

Yes, this issue. Also for about an hour, I had to press the noise control button 2-5 times in order to toggle from one mode to another. I think it was from Transparency mode to NC mode. The other way around had no issue.

How widespread are these issues? Is it depending on luck? The first AirPods Max I got generated very loud hissing sound from the right cup. This one has no such issue but the other two issues I mentioned.

I've had the latest firmware for a few hours now, and thus far no issues with the audio breaking up. However, even under the old firmware it didn't happen every time. So, it's probably too soon for me to say that "it's fixed."

Fingers crossed...

Thanks for sharing. My first one did not have this issue. As for the second one, it happened yesterday but not today. Haven't updated the firmware yet.

The firmware updates automatically, so yours might have already done so without your knowledge.
