Could either do the trade in at the store and they do a quick check and make sure there's no extreme damage. I've never had them quote me lower than the highest. This time around, I decided to get the trade in online so I'll have to ship to one of their warehouses. Interested to see how that will go.

*you* fumbled the launch by using a virtual card with a ridiculous expiration date.

Given that Apple never even really specified a launch date for AirPods Max 2 beyond early April, using a card that expired in March probably wasn't the most logical choice.

I’m reiterate this… I got the APP3 and now they’re about to upgrade them again this year. Something tells me to wait...
 
Did a pickup order and went straight in and out of the Apple Store this morning. My 9:02AM EST completed pre-order is being delivered tomorrow, very disappointing launch. I bought the pair from the store as I'm leaving for a trip tomorrow, so UPS is just gonna hold it till I get back to return it. I would have done store pickup initially if that was an option, but nope.
 
Apple should go back to the days of people camping out for a week in front of the store to get things on release day.

Then all the people could drive up the hype on social media, TV crews cover the event, people employ others to wait in line for them.

How fun it was. 😉

I was tossing up between Purple and Starlight so went to the apple store and ended up with Orange. Very happy with them 😀
 
I’m in the Scottish Highlands, and my Apple Store deliveries always take at least a day extra. After being told to expect mine next Tuesday because of the Easter public holidays, mine are out for delivery today!

Good to know they didn’t require a signature. It doesn’t say they do on the tracking, like they do with the iPhone, but there’s a good chance it will be delivered before I get home from work.

Looking forward to using them!

On mine APM2 the crown stopped working after a week? I still can use it as a button but not control the volume anymore. Anyone has an idea about that? 😕

Did you try resetting them (holding down the crown and noise cancellation button until it flashes amber)? Or try the crown volume controls on a different device to see if it’s a bug with the specific device you’re connected to? If not, did you try resetting the device you’re connected to?
 
Went into the Apple Store today to have a look at headphones and the the AirPod max absolutely blew me away , the sound quality and noise cancelling is amazing.
I think I will be going back in the week to upgrade from my Bose qc35 because there getting old with the micro usb port and weaker sound and degrading battery
