[doublepost=1512714991][/doublepost]I have this pausing issue now happen to me with offline podcasts since a few weeks at first with Downcast app (podcast app) and it's really annoying. Then I thought it might be the app because it hasn't been updated in ages. So I switched to Pocket Cast app but the same problem occured and now also with iCatcher! app as well.
I don't use an Airpods though but Mpow Magneto bluetooth headphones which have been working since ages (although this is my third pair).
I also couldn't find a setting in any of them that caused this. I just did a restart of my iPhone SE running the latest iOS10.3.2 official version and see if it helped or not.
Ive been having the same issue. I’ve noticed a pattern that might be part of the cause.
Listening to my podcast on my iPhone 6 with my AirPods I stepped out of range of the phone and the audio became spotty and intermittent (as it normally does when out of range). So I walked back to the phone and carried it w me. That’s when the ‘ghost’ pausing started. After reading some of these threads I thought maybe it’s a connectivity issue having to do with the case. So I grabbed the case (which was back where my phone was) and put it in my pocket w the phone. So far it hasn’t paused since.
So, maybe when the phone initially became out of range, it disrupted the connectivity between all 3 devices (phone, pods & case) causing the proximity of the case to factor in, creating the ‘ghost’ pausing.
Does anyone know of any connectivity issues w the case’s proximity?
