Hi. Ordered engraved AirPods Pro at Christmas. Date for delivery is currently end of January. Anyone else ordered these? Anyone else any thoughts on possible actual delivery date?? Thanks!

They under promise and over deliver typically. Set your hopes on end of January and be pleasantly surprised when you get them Jan 18 or so.

For comparison, I ordered 2 engraved pair around December 15 and received an estimated date of Jan 22. They do like to underpromise, so they can over-deliver.

I just ordered them unengraved. Had a delivery date of Jan 29th. Just checked with an Apple Store we are going to be near later today and they have them for pick up so I'll get them and cancel the order. I'm kind of surprised that Apple is not filling online orders before stocking them in stores.

I agree, that is rather surprising considering my payment has already been processed. If I’m not mistaken, that’s typically how they handle iPhone orders too. Someone correct me if I’m not remembering that correctly.

I had not been charged for the ones I ordered and just cancelled the order after I picked them up in the store this evening. The cancellation told me that since they had not shipped I would not be charged for them.

That’s good to hear. However, being a gift for both my wife and I, we want to have them engraved. I’m willing to wait for that.

You are lucky. Apple normally hold the amount on your card then take it when dispatched. During the holding time you can’t use that money. If you cancel it takes ages to release the hold so you can use the money again.

I have ordered with engraving on 07 Jan and expected delivery 13 Feb. Here in Toronto, most of the apple stores are sold out. One of the authorized reseller has 15-20 in stock, but they do not accept returns.

Unless you ordered engraved ones keep checking local stores for inventory. The salesperson where I found mine (local Apple Store) Told me they get random shipments unexpectedly and you just never know. I was lucky to find mine.

Stock is trickling through to Apple retail stores but selling fast So if you can’t wait then get to a retail store quickly. IStockNow is a good site to keep checking

I’m in the uk and everywhere shows as sold out. However today I happened to go past the Apple store in Manchester and I have been thinking of buying pros so popped in to see if they had a test/dummy pair I could try as I’ve never tried them with a view of ordering online when they’re back in stock but they actually had some in.

Ordered a pair of AirPods Pro from Verizon on Saturday and it arrived today. Verizon also has it $10 off, allows you to use accessory credits and you can bill it to your phone bill
