Mine are finally out for delivery after being delayed yesterday. I noticed UPS now has the ability to track the delivery truck as it makes it way to you. I’ve seen that with Amazon but this is the first time I’ve noticed the feature from UPS. Definitely appreciate it.

Got my AirPods and the noise cancellation makes it so that low-frequency noise is muted out (ie, in the office that I am in, the heater noise is muted when I wear the AirPods Pro), but I can hear everything else.

My expectation was that all noise would be cancelled out. That has not been the case for me.

I think they first started implementing this in 2017 when the iPhone X was released. I recall that I was able to track the UPS that was delivering my iPhone X then too.

Active noise canceling works by taking the frequency and canceling it by making an opposite one. This works with lower end frequencies and more constant sound like the airplane and etc . Higher frequencies is where it sometimes has an issue. There’s a video about it on YouTube somewhere explaining it if you want to know more

There is no technology out there that I'm aware and/or that is publicly available that can do what you're asking there.

Is anyone else still sitting at "Ready for UPS?" Absolutely no movement.
Called UPS and was told "Sorry we don't know anything. Call Apple." Called Apple and was told that they don't know where they are, but they have an assigned serial number. They're escalating it and will call me back with an update. Was given a "probable delivery" sometime next week and that the order can't be canceled because they're considered shipped. Very weird.
 
I have a delivery coming from AI Carlisle Pa via fed ex. They are requiring adult signature and package showing two pounds. Anyone else’s ship from there and with the weight? It’s held at my not so local fed ex center, so wonder if them.

weird series of events when ordering, actually cancelled. Then this overnight shows up, so wondering if them.

curious if others got via fed ex with that weight and location for the new ones?

Well as recently as last month, where I live in Phoenix, I have not had a UPS delivery tracked this way.

My order has showed no movement on fedex site. Says eta is today but says it may change when they receive the package. All it shows is the shipping label was created Wednesday the 30th at 7pm. What the hell is your warehouse doing Apple? Was really hoping I’d have them by today but I guess next week sometime smh.

I’ve been following this thread for the past few days and noticed that you and I are in the exact same boat. Had a Nov 4-6 estimated date when ordered. Went to preparing to ship about the same time as you on Wed. Mine went to “Shipped” status overnight. The FedEx tracking says the label was created 8:21pm Wednesday 30 Oct and that’s it. No movement. FedEx tracking says estimated delivery 01 Nov (today), but that “the delivery date may be updated when FedEx receives the package.” Mine are apparently being shipped from Mount Juliet, TN (I’m in North Carolina).

I’m hoping that this is just an issue of the FedEx site not updating. Oh well.

Considering not only mine, but my friend's order as well were lost and had the same status for tracking, I'd contact Apple to see what's up. They confirmed mine were lost and ordered a replacement, but kicked me to the back of the line with delivery November 8-10

Oh wow, so I’m not the only one lol. I’m not sure what’s going on with it but it never came today and still the same status on fedex. I can’t fathom it takes that long to give to your shipping partner. I was hoping it was just an error but I don’t think we will get it until sometime next week... I’m in NJ by the way.

Oh man that’s terrible. I just got a notification a few minutes ago that fedex finally received my package, so eta is now Monday. I’m glad I know it didn’t get lost , at least it’s coming sooner then the expected 11/4-11/6 date. Hopefully you get yours sooner then what they quoted you.

Our Airpods must be on the same pallet or something. I got the same notice this evening. Looks like Monday delivery. At least they aren’t lost!

Wow, fedex had updated my status last night from Monday to Tuesday. So I’m outside changing my oil today (Sunday) and an unmarked white van pulled up and a man dropped them off! Very cool, not sure why they came today as they were just standard home delivery, in any case very happy!

Perhaps you was on a route that had a Sunday delivery anyways and figured to just add it ?

Maybe, just pumped to have them. I like them so far. The noise canceling is wild! It’s my first time using a pair with that feature.
Funny...again, similar experience to you. FedEx changed the delivery to Tue, then back to Mon...then on Sun afternoon they were delivered. I was surprised to get a Sun delivery, but happy to get them a bit earlier.
