I think i'll head over to the BB in Springfield, MO around 7. Bringing my old Powerbook to do some reading, maybe watch a movie while I wait.

SOunds like a good plan...I have been using my iphone on the charge and charging my Mac pro so when I get out of the car. Will line up when another car comes or so...Last time I waited for the iphone was there most of the night. At around 5 am these two guys come up and totally jump ahead of me and another guy. Tottally pissed. Oh well still got one but principle after w8ing that long in my car...
You would think if pulling up and you know another car has been there longer you would give that person first dibs in line.
I'm in Texas also. What time are the Best Buys supposed to open this morning, and will they have stock of the iPad accessories also (case, dock etc)?

He is across parking lot kinda but sitting there and so not getting out of car just yet...I would rather hang in the cars and then go...That wont last much longer Im afraid...People out of cars there yet
They open at 9 and from what people are saying they will have accessories as well
It's 6:40 here in Maine and I'm the only one here. Started driving around at midnight, went home for a while. Couldn't sleep. So here I am. Still in my car though, until someone else shows up, Maine isn't a warm climate. Someone just drove in, might be employee. Don't wanna get out yet haha. BORED.
Ditto still working some and about to surf Itunes store some...Need to clean up music and videos. Now its 6 and still me and another guy sitting in our cars. Very suprised not more turn out but hey that is good. My nephew not here yet and wondering how that is going to pan out since he is only 13 but going to give him a credit card and let him buy one also. Not sure if that is going to work. Well see I guess. If more people dont show really wont be a problem. I bet alot of people pre reserved since we have several apple stores in our area
1st one at my Best Buy parking lot...Second car just pulled up with 2 people in...They aren't getting out of the car yet, hopefully they won't yet, I don't want to sit out in the rain for 4 hours...Or at least hopefully the Best Buy people will let us in if it starts coming down hard...At least they have a sign that says line starts here by the entrance...
True but should have some common courtesy if you see another car there prior to yours...I would
I do agree about courtesy but... does it even matter?? BB will have minimum of 15.... I'm sure if you're the 2nd guy you'll be fine. Unless you want to be #1

They will be handing out numbers for the amount of iPads they have at 9:30am.
Those who get a number can get an iPad at 10 am when they open.
No idea of how many of each model they will have.
