Have they said anything at all?Every update risks having a problem. As long as this only happens at night. I still think Apple knows more than what they are saying.

Not happened with iPhone 15 plus or 15 pro before I returned it. But my watch 9 has done this several times this weekHave they said anything at all?
People are going to lose their jobs over this and yet Apple remains silent.13 mini rebooted last night during charging and missed my alarm this morning. No panic log in analytics or anything else interesting.

You can check if you go to your battery page. If it has a missing chunk then it was off during that period.Since upgrading my iPhone 13 from iOS 16.7.1 to iOS 17.1 it has asked me twice to reenter my passcode. I never had that happen with iOS 16. And i'm not so sure these phones are rebooting, hence asking for the passcode.
Last night I had my iPhone next to my Mac keyboard and it was somewhat dark. So I picked up the iPhone and it asked for my Passcode. I tried turning off the screen and waking up the phone and each time it asked for my Passcode. So I thought, well maybe Face ID doesn't see my mug so I turned on the lights and it still asked for my Passcode.
What was interesting and why I question if the phone rebooted at all was that it was sitting next to my keyboard in low light conditions. If it had rebooted, I surely would have seen the Apple Logo appear but no, that never happened.
It's too late now to switch back to iOS 16 as it's no longer signed.

That makes sense but what doesn't make sense to me is that I had my iPhone sitting to the left of my Mac keyboard and I was basically in a mostly dark room with the exception of the monitor being on. I surely would have noticed if my iPhone had rebooted because I would have seen the whiteThat's not correct. The phone isn't off the entire time the battery info is missing. It just means the phone reboot at the start where the chunk was missing. The battery info will be missing until the phone is unlocked.
I know is a meme that if you want to get an answer immediately you need to post something mistaken first. So thank you for the confirmation that the iPhone does indeed reboot? That was the mini discussion actually about lmao. That's not correct. The phone isn't off the entire time the battery info is missing. Almost, think you meant kernel panic? I do actually like panic attack betterAfter some research it looks like it had what Apple calls a panic attack.
