I don't like the sound quality of Spotify and some albums were missing songs even though they are available on other services.

You have only used the free version, the paid version has good quality sound.

My friends share Playlist it they are Spotify Playlist.

That is because they are enjoying Spotify and you are using Apple Music. If you want the best playlists which are on Spotify then use the free version and then there are plenty of tools out there to take a Spotify playlist and re-create it in Apple Music. That is what I had to do when I tried Apple Music as its playlists were so bad.

Yes I agree with LeeW - the Sound quality is - equal to or better than - Apple Music (Streaming) and even better if using the (Paid) Spotify App on macOS - which can download the music file to play offline @ very good quality

My friends share Playlist it they are Spotify Playlist.

Android users don't usually want to use apple music to share music - Spotify is multi platform - and if you share a spotify music playlist the recipient does not have to join and pay - or sing up for "Free Trial" like apple music

Spotify is technically better quality only by bit rate though. 256 whilst Spotify is 320 but some will suggest Apple is actually the same quality due to using their own codec. If you are using Spotify free then the bitrate is reduced to 160 so there will be a clear difference between free/paid.

Apparently not for much longer:

Apple Music HiFi, new AirPods may arrive within weeks

I've been perfectly happy with Apple Music for the past few years but I am looking forward to this.

I have had Apple Music the past three years or so and iTunes prior to that. I have had Spotify Premium for the past two years off and on. I was without a Mac for a few months until getting the new M1 Air last week. Using Apple Music on the Mac has solidified my decision to cancel Apple Music. What a slow, buggy irritating experience it is.

Spotify has its problems but they pale in comparison to Apple Music on Mac OS. It is clear that Cook and the company management just doesn't care about fixing it. It should be a smooth experience after 5 years but it is not even close.

Spotify will be getting my 10 Euros monthly and Cook will be getting zilch.

This is exactly why I don't update things.
iTunes still working great on High Sierra.

It's nice to have but not really sure HiFi really matters that much for the masses, in fact, it doesn't. It's coming to Spotify as well this year so we will see what the pickup rate is.
That is true.

Projections must make it economically significant enough (to Apple) to justify the change.

Higher bitrates means more data usage for streaming on cellular…which could be a shock for some folks when they start using it after ignoring the small print.
