I dont think it is the aluminium alloy that is creaking at all. Inside new Apple laptops there are a few damping parts mounted on the logic board that keeps the aluminum grounded. They are like the top of a pencil mounted to be pushed against the aluminum cover.

When there is tension they are pushed in a bit and thats causing a sound that is not very nice to hear, that sounds like squeaking.

You can see them clearly on this picture from iFixit: http://guide-images.ifixit.net/igi/GmKJtHXtEJbt2e5J.huge

Look at the usb-port for the round dots, one is just below the usb-port and one is over and just after it. There is also one next to the speaker-cable. If you look closely you can see that they are made in two parts with the top part being able to be pushed back (down) a bit.

Im not sure I explained good enough but I hope I did :).

UNFORTUNATELY this means that this is an issue with all current Apple-laptop that features this part. If it doesnt creak now it will do so in the future or perhaps vice versa (if they wear in).

Also I don't think everybody notices it either since you have to push the right place or handle it in a certain way. For me it is most obvious when I put my laptop on my lap.
