My thoughts are they’re not robbing anyone. They aren’t forcing anyone to purchase..

Went from the X to Xs Max, really happy with my decision as the bigger screen is a really nice. I am considering returning my Apple Watch though to be honest, I just realized I don't use it for much other than just notifications and time.
Eh, that's the sort of thing we can expect from the S cycle, as you should know. More colors, camera changes, speed bumps, etc. Body/screen will stay the same. I mean, for the most part, the 6 design lasted for quite a while (6, 6S, 7, 8). You could say nothing changed between those.
You own a phone that is almost identical to the XS - and paid the same for it - but you didn’t return it a year ago?

The XS is not targeted at X owners - even Apple doesn’t expect people to replace their phones every year.

Love my XS, probably the only phone I've gotten that I'll keep for 2 years maybe more.
You paid the same price for the X. If someone already has the X the new models are not much of an upgrade but for people with older models the X/XS/XR/XS Max are a substantial upgrade.

Negative!!! The X factor was totally a different design and came with Oled. I needed to have Oled in my life. That’s why I paid my $$$..
I ain’t that dumb to buy the same phone twice lol..
I paid $700 for it since I sold my 7
I went from X to XS Max and am very happy with it. The largerscreen is fantastic, and the speakers and camera are noticeably better too. All that plus noticably faster face unlock has left me very happy with my purchase.
Im an android guy but this is the reason ill pay what i have to pay to run ios. I have a spare iphone 6S. I updated it to ios 12 and it became just has fast and smoother than most android phone and still getting day one support. Ran today and got a MAX which can last me for 2-3 years. Thats how i knew that u also pay for reliability. I had a gs8, note 8, gs9+ and they were great phone but dont really get updated often plus their value decreased by half in less than a year.

They aren’t “robbing us” lol. I copped the XS Max and absolutely love it. If you have the X there is no reason to the get XS unless you are upgrading to the MAX. The new Apple Watch is a HUGE improvement as well. I’m impressed and pleased with my purchase.
I bought a pair of pants that i think costs too much and maybe I’ll return them. Maybe I won’t. Maybe I’ll see who else thinks pants are too expensive? iPhone is a product. Products can be good or bad. That’s why people can buy them if they want to.
