It's not an issue unless you really are using up all the bandwidth all at once which I doubt. I am seeing the same thing. If it bothers you then move one of your Sonnet to Slot 3 since you aren't using it.

As to an archive of FW800 disks .... That feels insecure for a long term solution. I'd suggest to not store data you (or your customers) value on single disks at all.
Instead store them on a NAS or somethig like that and/or get a decent backup solution in place.

FW800 disks were once nice, those days are however long gone.

Hello, I just bought two Sonnet M.2 4x4 SSD PCIe Card. I've placed in slot 5 the first one (It's 4x2TB Sabrent SSD) and the second one (It's 1x8TB Sabrent SSD) into slot 4 (previously I placed it into slot 6 but Expansion Slot Utility suggested to move it into slot 4). Now this is what Expansion Slot Utility. Any suggestion? I don't have any other external device connected to the mac apart the thunderbolt monitor which is connected to the AMD Radeon Pro W5700X.

Can anybody help?
Move slot 5 to slot 3. Slot 3 is its own Pool (slot 1 is also its own Pool - The Mac Pro has four x16 pools; Pool A and Pool B have to go through the 96 lane PCIe switch but slot 1 and slot 3 do not). Then change slot 4 to Pool A.

Or move slot 4 to slot 3 for more spacing for cooling.
