My current black Macbook (C2D with 250 GB and GMA GPU) that I purchased almost 3 years ago has been very reliable; but, I was planning on replacing it with a Sandy Bridge MBA.

Now with news of a black anodized MBA coming out, I think the computer renewal gods have spoken.

Doubt it will be black. Fingerprint magnet. My old black MacBook attracted them like crazy! This refresh will be same color as current ones. The real question is when they will be released.

Personally I think the color black is far too common to be enticing for me. However a white Air would be a serious reason to consider buying the new model when it comes out. (for me that is)

People still look at the current Airs and think others are "nuts" for buying them because they see a "dual core 1.4 ghz processor".

Some people are never going to get it. But yea, I heard that the way they were doing the black paint absorbed a lot of oils from the skin and looked really bad after slight usage; of course nobody knows for sure but don't count on it.

This was on a podcast; one of the speakers there actually talked to someone who was making it/testing it out. He said it wasn't likely.
