am i crazy or does iphone 3GS smell

just texted my friend to smell her brand new 3G S that she got a few hours ago. she flipped out and cant stop smelling it now.
hahaha.

I think we need to call in an Intervention for everyone here lol. My 3gs doesn't smell at all. Have u guys who smell stuff perhaps been sticking other, unsuggested things in your nose?
 
Mine definitely has a sweet, "starbursty" smell to it... Very strange... If you took this thread as a joke, I suggest you smell your port (err your iPhones port I mean) and post something a bit more serious. Op is on to something and it's up to us small but elite group of macrumors' to uncover the mystery.
 
admittedly it does have a slight sweet scent lol

can't believe you lot have me smelling the iPhone

Mine smells like the glue they use on braces (not pleasant)

Well it used to have that "new electronic smell" that I LOVE! I know I'm not alone in loving that smell. Now it just kinda smells like...warm plastic? But the iPhone is not warm at all.
 
haha insane, I was driving today and smelt a smell (it ended up being fro
a vehicle in front of me coming through my air vents) but anyway at first I thought it was my iPhone, so I grabbed it from my cupholder and smelt it, and YES it definitely smells sweet! I was going to post about it but did a search first and found this.

Apple should release a book full of little weird facts about their products considering their anal and over analyzing customer base, I'm like that at times aswell though so certainly not a slam against anyone. =)
 
How weird is that! Mine has a smell to it as well, all though it is nt too much of a sweet smell there is a distinct "fruity" smell too it LOL
