The 13-inch one from 2015 would do the basic work just fine, but watch out for its weight and battery life if you plan on traveling with it. I would go with 16GB of RAM and 3.1Ghz Quad Core i7... Also, check if the LCD has started to show some signs of delamination, if so, it will be terrible quite soon.
