I upgraded to the natural titanium 15 pro max 256gb from 12 pro max.

From battery issues to overheating, screen burn in, even software issues. Thankfully I haven’t had a single problem.

Just wondering if there are others completely happy with their new iPhone.
Same same

iPhone 15 Pro Max, 512 blue Titanium. Only issue I have is all pictures sent & received from people in messages never transferred over! I'm talking years and years of pics. Obviously that's a software issue. But ZERO hardware issues so far. I've had the phone since Sept. 28th

No issues on my 15PM except two minor irrelevant cosmetic defects that I’m sure 99% wouldn’t even notice if they weren’t me. Loving the phone and size.

Do you live in Iceland or Alaska?

15PM here, been using mine since the first day pickup on September 22 and using a hard on a day to day basis, both work and pleasure. With lots phone calls using both the iPhone for calling and APP2, reading and sending emails with attachments, lots of photo taking for my work, lots of SOT with lots of battery life last until late night, all my vehicle trips involves plugging into media center usb port for Carplay and 20 minutes of lunch time gaming with not a single issue to date.

My iPhone 15 Pro MAX (Natural 256) has no issues. Really happy with it.

My 15 PM has operated without flaw. It never got but slightly warm when moving all my data and apps. love the 5X camera. Could not be more happy.

It was you with a dead pixel in the safari search bar? Damn that is mega unlucky… cementing my idea that getting a worse phone in case of minor flaws is quite possible. Really sucks, I can accept a lot of things but not dead pixels

Knock on wood, not a single problem or issue with my iPhone 15 Pro Max black bought on launch day.

I had the 14 Pro before it. When I initially set that up like every phone before it, it got warm. Sometimes charging, it got warm, also occasionally a running app would cause every iPhone I’ve had to get warm. This phone did the same and like the others it didn’t concern me.

Happy to see that a lot of people don't seem to have any issues. Would you please try this one test? Close any open apps, open the camera, and hit video record for 2 minutes or more. Does your iPhone 15 Pro Max get warm on the left side?

The reason I ask is because I went to the Apple store and tried this on three phones. Both Pro Maxes got very warm on the left side, the Plus was normal. All phones at the store were running 17.0.3.

Thank you!

Glad you don’t have a problem with your iPhone either.

Just tried this. After 2 mins of recording it is maybe very slightly less cool on the left side? But the phone as a whole is still cool to the touch, even on the left side it is not noticeably warm at all.

I have long suspected that the issue with overheating is the iOS issue. Why? Because I have never had any battery or overheating issues with any iPhones over the years, but after the iOS 16.5.1 update, my 13 Pro Max started having battery and overheating issues.

For example, I just had a 5-minute conversation over FaceTime and the 13 Pro Max is very warm to the touch around the camera square, more than just a little bit warm. So would someone please try to FaceTime someone for a couple of minutes to see if the 15 Pro Max heats up after FaceTime?

Thank you!

I was on facetime with a friend a couple of days ago for about an hour, my 15 pro max never become noticeably warm.

I got my 256 natural pm yesterday. Updated to 17.0.3 before setting it all up. So far so good.

Think this is fixed in 17.1 beta.

No issues here although we've only had our iPhone 15 Pro Max 512GB in Natural Titanium on AT&T. iOS 17.0.3 was updated as part of the setup. This is my fourth iPhone that only got the very slightly bit warmer than the ambient room temperature while downloading apps that only took less than an hour, all while charging. Any time millions of units are produced, some will miss QA. With Apple, there are always outliers that influencers use to blow out of proportion. It happens with every Apple product launch.
