In the meantime, make sure you guys are prepped for it. Nothing like getting excited and wanting to unwrap your present at the stroke of 10am PST but then finding out you need to wait a couple of hours before you can lay your fingertips all over it.
  • Backup up your device on iCloud/iTunes
  • Make sure you have enough space on your device to install iOS 11
  • Make sure device is charged to a sufficient level or that you have a charging cable handy for when it's installing
 
You know the GM is the final version right?

Both iOS 9 and 10 had an updated version when it actually released to the public, 11 is likely to have a newer build too.

The GM we have installed now is only a candidate, Apple can and often do update them before release.

Since we have at least 20 more minutes before we start hammering the Apple servers, I decided an iCloud backup was probably a good idea...

I did all of my backups last night. Wanted to be ready for iOS 11 Launch Day!

I don't have anything on there very crucial. Worst case scenario I set it up as new and start from scratch, but seeing as I will be doing that Friday, I'd hate to have to do that twice.
