I bought it from this Tech for Less seller on Amazon too. Paid ~$66 including shipping.

Shipping took day and a half from Colorado to Houston. Code turned out to be used. Contacted the seller, no questions asked, replacement arrived within another 2 days. The second code worked.

Very happy with the transaction.

well i got burned. my protection plan came with white-out all over the registration card and the number came up as already registered when i tried to register with apple.com. i called today and they will refund but are now sold out of the older version.

Geez, I'm sorry, MZD! That's weird about the white-out. I ordered the cheaper version maybe a week or so ago and had no trouble registering Apple Care. Too bad about your attempt!

guess it's luck of the draw.I guess teh vendor jsut buys unuse items from clearances stores. Some might of been used.
