Barely ANY music there in Prime Music at the moment. Not recommended at all, and I'm a Prime member. I'm also a K-Pop fan and only Apple Music out of its competitors have a solid K-Pop library. So unless Prime Music surprises me with that, I'm not gonna switch (again).

It's also been in my experience that either Amazons apps suck or their cloud services do. I constantly have trouble with Amazon Instant (I'm not a prime member but I do occasionally buy digital movies on there and watch them) lots of time outs, buffering, app crashes on both iOS and PS3. It's always been a mess for me.

A Prime perk that I personally find useful is their unlimited cloud photo storage. I've uploaded my 20GB collection and now some of my older family photos are there available on my iPhone if the need to show them should arise.

I wonder if this has to do with your ISP or router. It's been many a year since I've had trouble with their digital movies, even over LTE, but I've got a high-end cable internet connection at home, and I'm on Verizon so I generally have strong LTE signal.

It's been consistent with two different internet providers and speeds. At my old place I had Insight/Time Warner I had 20/3 service. Now here I have W.O.W. With 50/5 service and still have the issue. And my internet is very reliable for anything else. I don't normally use my cell service for anything like this, but I do have full AT&T LTE with a great signal. However again, I can't remember me ever using my LTE for streaming movies. Usually when I do use amazons app it's either on my PS3 or AirPlay from my phone or iPad to my Apple TV. There could be something else I'm missing though.

Unless Apple puts out the dumpster fire that is Apple Music, I'd say any music streaming service is a threat.

One thing to keep in mind is the cloud interaction. Apple seems to have difficulty while Amazon has minimal.
Be cool to see where this goes.

Prime member since inception and Amazon Music user.
