Not at all. Its the same legality that prevents anyone else from selling a computer with OSX on it, or even offer the ability to run it.

Macs are not in a dominant position. It's not the same thing.

Somebody who wants an inexpensive "consumer" workstation.

Intel has much better performance per watt, performance per clock, and is a generation ahead in die shrink technology.

You cannot make a direct comparison of Intel's and AMD's processes.

AMD uses SOI for Stars/Bulldozer processors and does continuous process improvement.

SOI is always shrunk after bulk silicon.
