Fix for Graphical Problems

I had the same problem. The game becomes unusually dark and washed out sometimes when resolutions are set too high or applications are open. It's best to reset the computer, quit all apps, launch the game, and reset settings.

And I'm sixteen by the way.

When I played Amnesia: Dark Descent it was dark and washed out all the way through, especially if you looked at the enemy. I just assumed it was part of the game and the whole psychology of it, just like with Doom 3.

Bought this during the Steam Sale. It's not the kind of thing I play (games, films... they can make me jump but I never actually get scared of playing) but the rave reviews and low price (£3?) pushed me to buy it!

This is a great game. You don't get the cheap scares of Doom 3 or the blockbuster horror games, where enemies constantly jump out of dark areas to "scare" you.

This is a game that will make you think you're going insane. It's pretty good and definitely a true survival horror game.
