Hi all,
I am on this nostalgia trip and I want to run my beloved Unreal and Unreal Tournament on a G4 emac.
The versions I bought on GOG are clearly useless, my original cds from the 1998/1999 leave me with a classic only executable and that is far from optimal on a machine (1.25 ghz eMac) that is only Mac Os X capable.
I saw that a nice person spent a lot of time in porting and optimizing both Unreal and UT99 to Mac Os X PPC but his website removed downloads from...
January?
Am I this unlucky?
I managed to download the Unreal Gold from MEGA (I found the link via archive.org).
It was a broken zip file but - it seems - I was able to fix it using WinRAR.
But Unreal Tournament package is not available anywhere.
It was hosted on 4share and the link is now dead...
Was anyone quick enough to save it somewhere before it gets lost in the void forever?
Thanks for your time and patience
ps
Seems like there is a Mac Os X executable built by icculus but it has quite some problems (including music not working).
Getting to the unrealosx.webs.com version would be the end of my personal quest
