I have the original cd + the mac os x launcher but the file I mention contained all the latest updates ported to mac os x.

None of the macintosh Garden site does, sadly :(
I think the website has you confused, while the Intel port had the latest updates, the PowerPC version has not been updated since 2002. (The readme was written in 2012)

All the bugs in the original port are still documented in the readme for the version from Unrealism. The only advantage to that particular download is that it helps walk you through modifying your ini for your specific resolution.

I think you are right but in any case it is the most updated one, I'd say.

I am still searching for native UNREAL-GOLD and RUNE for x86/OSX 10.7+ (no wine or cider)
Doesn't exist, no Unreal engine from that generation was ever made, and people used WINE after PPC support was dropped.

But you have the tools to at least get Unreal running if you want to put in the work.

Not sure how much Rune customized the engine, so that could be a much more difficult task.
