The MacBook Pro? It's fine now, got it back yesterday. Went in for faulty wireless and they replaced the airport card, logic board and display. Still going to for a jail break to 3.1.2 before changing from 3.0.1.

The MacBook Pro? It's fine now, got it back yesterday. Went in for faulty wireless and they replaced the airport card, logic board and display. Still going to for a jail break to 3.1.2 before changing from 3.0.1.
I think I am going to stick to 3.0.1 for a long time. Too much of a good thing going with skype on 3G and stuff. Do not want to mess it up when I do not even know if it is stable on 3.1.x and later versions.
I just wait. And also for the JB to be much simpler. I am no techie and am sort of clueless about all the steps required.
Am worried about losing all my settings and all and not so much about the phone being bricked.

He is dropping support for iPod Touch 3 as it is not vulnerable to the exploit he is using (as I read it)
My guess is he will release his Blackra1n tool for the other 5 devices pretty soon now that he has made this decision.

THX for that Liz/I been tryin to keep up w/ the news on BR....man that iPT3 must be a tough one!...I'm on 3.0.1 but im gettin anx to JB 3.1.2
ih8sn0w posted a custom IPSW earlier today and I used it to update. It upgrades the BB though.
Well, other than the new baseband will fix the carrier logo errors, why go to the higher baseband ?
