The camera upgrades. Maybe the better GPS. I was genuinely underwhelmed and returned my 14 Pro 2 days after buying it. Apple really is trying hard to drive me to Android again.

Same. The display is mindblowing. I came from the 12 pro max. So even a bigger jump

That’s good to know. I didn’t know there was a difference. It absolutely sucks in the sunlight on my 12 pro. Brightness max, reduce white off

The technical specs page from 12 pro:

800 nits max brightness (typical); 1200 nits max brightness (HDR)

From 14 Pro:

1000 nits max brightness (typical); 1600 nits peak brightness (HDR); 2000 nits peak brightness (outdoor)

I'd have to say the display. Its something almost no one mentioned but I see a pretty decent difference over my 13pm and my 14pm.

The promotion movement is smoother, I feel like its a bit clearer and the extreme low end and high end brightness is better as well.

The notch vs the pill is marketing. I like the pill better but it isn't some massive change nor is it a massive issue many here make it out to be.

What were the reasons that made you switch to iPhone in the first place?

Coming from the 12 PM, I am surprised how noticeable 120hz screen is, it’s so smooth! Regarding iPhone 14 features per say, the one I love the most for now is Dynamic Island. I don’t use it that much, but the blurred line between software and the notch is amazing

During a sunny day ,how long is It able to keep with 2k nuts ? Doesn’t the heat make it throttle the brightness ?

I took both my 14pro and 13pro outside in the bright sun and then I started recording 4K video, they both dimmed around the same time after about 3 minutes so sadly no difference. Also tested it while running Antutu benchmark indoors. Also after a few minutes they both dim the same. That is my biggest issue with the iPhone and I was hoping they would have resolved that.

Went to a soccer game today with full Texas sun. comparing my ip 7 and 14 side by side, My old iphone 7 plus screen is barely readable. my new iphone 14 Pro Max is sharp and bright. What a night and day diff.

I find Dynamic Island is very useful: timer, Apple TV remote.
