Android people: Is it really THAT serious???

Meh, I find it humorous.

Coming from a guy who owns two Macs, and an Android.
I had an iPhone before (3GS), and when the 4 came out, I switched to Android. I do think that the iPhone5 will be an amazing piece of phone, and once it's announced/released, I am willing to switch. But then I notice the OS, and it just doesn't work for me.... Therefore, I'm looking into another Android device that I can upgrade to, but have an open mind of iOS also.


My opinion on the matter.

I have a sneaking suspicion that Bobby was hoping to incite an argument and flamewar. Thankfully, that hasn't happened.
 
It's all about personal opinion, but I'll continue to argue my point till the day android or apple ceases operations: I've never once personally met a person who switched to iPhone from android who still preferred android. I'm a graphic designer and design is huge to me. Then there's also the side of me that's a web developer.

Personally, NO ONE can argue that Apple doesn't have one of the best industrial design teams in the world and I also just agree with their stance on the web and HTML5 and CSS3 being the next big thing and taking over flash. It's gonna happen. Ask any web developer. There's just no reason for it. H.264 maimed it and css3 and html5 killed it. But enough about that. My point is that it's all about preference and always will be.

And my preference will always be Apple.

This was worth starting a thread? C-mon man, this is as nit picky as it gets. And to answer the bolded above..of course you would. You just havent noticed because it wouldnt mean anythiing to you if you saw it, but as a fanboy of Apple, you notice it.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinions and I found the sticker to be quite hilarious.

It's like becoming a rapist because you don't have anybody disposed to have a normal sexual life with you. Frustration. Mac users just have a natural way to get things done, and feel satisfied that way. Android users have to tweak the crap out of something designed to make phone calls, just to make it work as an iPhone user would expect it to OOTB, and compensate that fact with feeling superior just because they had to use some 1337 h4x0r skills to make something work.

Obviously this does not apply to every Android user. Or every iOS user for that matter.
 
Its much like seeing those little Apple stickers on cars/notebooks/whatever back before the iPhone as a way of saying "I own Apple products, I think different!". Same thing here, except Apple is effectively the market leader and Android's the one trying to convince people to think different.

The S2 was also released almost a year after the iPhone 4, so yes, it is something from the future compared to current iPhones... thats what it is, an iPhone killer.

Right. Shame on the large proportion of us who want to discuss the iPhone rather than other phones in an iPhone forum. And of course our problem with these posts is not that they are spam, but they we are uneducated and/or irrational Apple fanboys...

For the record, I and others who hold this opinion do complain about threads that flame other platforms if they are not relevant to the iPhone or appear to be trolling.

iOS is better than Android mainly because it has a better track record and its app store is one of a kind.

Windows will still be eternally better than Macs. Alienware can drop Macs anyday if you want to compare specs. Macs for 1200$ has the same performance of a PC that is 600$-700$. Further more, compatibility is never an issue with Windows. The marketshare doesn't lie with Windows having 9-1 edge.

To add on to that .... I think comparing specs on PC vs Mac is completely differ than comparing hardware specs on phones/devices.
