I can quite happily say that I haven't had a single app that didn't work on either my HTC Hero nor my Nexus One.

If I ever do encounter issues running an app on my Android based devices, I'll be happy in the knowledge that I have a whole 24 hours to test and refund my purchase.

(FYI, with Android apps, you aren't actually billed for the app until the 24 hour refund period is up so it isn't a 'refund' per se.)

A bit off topic, but how do you like the Nexus One and how is it compared to the iPhone.

I have to say, I prefer the open source model that android embraces but apple does an excellent job at integrating its features and producing a high quality solid phone

I do love it but you simply can not beat the integration that the Apple ecosystem brings to the iPhone.

I love the selections of apps on offer on Android and being able to stream whilst browsing/IM'ing or emailing etc. Apps are ever improving on Android (this is my current Android favourite) and the customisation options are fantastic.

I also love the hardware in the Nexus One and the screen is absolutely stunning. Here is a pic of it compared to my wifes brand new iPod touch 32GB I bought her yesterday:

I don't consider myself an average user and love to tinker with things which is why Android suited me better but as I said above, the integration Apple offer with the iPhone is unrivalled. Both platforms are excellent and offer something somewhat similar but with advantages either side!

Thanks,
the integration piece is probably the biggest ability on the iPhone that I'll miss.

I switched back to Aperture when they went to version three because I had not realized how much I rely on said integration. Using Adobe's Lightroom was fine, but I had extra steps because it did not integrate as well as Aperture. So bringing it back to the subject, I can't see myself doing w/o it.
