If the Gear S3 had Bixby three months ago, or had a solid date when it would get it, I would have gone with the S3 too. But I used Siri a lot with my Apple Watch, and I now use Assistant a lot with my LG Sport. But that danged S Voice on the S3 just didn't cut it for me. I would imagine the S4 will launch with Bixby and I'll be taking a close look at it (assuming Apple doesn't blow me away with the iPhone 8, and then maybe back to Apple Watch to go with it :)). The S3 improved on the already-good S2 so I would imagine the S4 will only continue that trend, barring any "explosive" issues.

yeah, S voice is terrible. That's the one thing I miss from my Apple Watch, having a decent voice assistant. I get by without and just use Google Assistant on my phone if I really need to dictate something (or Google Home in my house for alarms/timers, etc.)

So an update.. am back waiting for the LG Watch Sport to be released in the UK..
The hardware on the S3 was great but I couldn't live with the software especially using it with my Pixel.. didn't feel fully compatible.
I have given the S3 to my brother who has a Samsung S7 Edge.. who was thrilled.
Com'on Google!

It's has not ended well for my LG Watch Sport ambitions.
Last week LG UK confirmed to me that the Sport will not see release in the UK anytime soon (if ever).
So with a heavy heart I started to look for other Android Wear 2.0 options.
As it were fate.. a really good deal for the Huawei Watch 2 came up on Amazon UK on their lightening deals.
I went for it.. a Huawei Watch 2 for £240!
This will have to do for now for my Android Wear 2.0 itch!

I am thinking about giving up my LG watch Urbane (1st gen) because new Android Wear 2.0 required that you must have Android smartphone NOT Android tablet. Previous version of Android Wear worked well with my Android tablet. I do not want to install AW 2.0 app on my iPhone because I read negative comments about AW 2.0 for iPhone :(

So ... I bought the LG Sport and it's coming Tuesday.

I've been using one as well for about a month now. Sold my gear S3. I'm really liking the LG Sport. But I mainly wanted it for Google Fit (workplace wellness plan links to Fit not Samsung Health) and I do like the fit and feel better than the Gear S3. Enjoy! i've been loving mine!

Is it weird of me to say that if I like the LG Sport I might give LG a chance in terms of phones next year?

I run with a Garmin Forerunner. Lately, the screen has been acting up (unresponsive to touch).

The LG Sport might be just the ticket, for me. I want to rid myself of the chest strap heart rate monitors that come with most Garmin running watches (or at least the older versions).
