Me too. Seeing that iWeb doesnt imbed fonts your text gets screwed if you view the site on a computer that doesnt have your selected font (PC's). check out my site on a PC and you will immediately see what I mean... UGLY!

I'm of the opinion with many more 'old skool' web designers that accesibility should come first and having text-as-images is a dreadful thing. It means anybody with a non-imaging browser (anybody using lynx, etc though you probably don't care about them or anybody with a disability using a screenreader) is screwwed unless you put the entire text of the section in the alt tag (as you should anyway...)

Find a way to make your design look attractive without the stupid, server overloading, slow fluff. Most sites manage it. And don't get me started on sites written entirely in flash/flash script. I like my browser back and forward buttons to work, thanks.

It's true... I've seen worse code come out of supposedly standards-compliant CMS systems with their stock templates, and validing a page created with WYSIWYG Frontpage isn't even worth the mouse click :D

I think we have a thread for this (not sure, but I think we do), but I want to show off my iWeb based site too! I say iWeb based, because I also use WordPress, ZenPhoto, and host it elsewhere (not with Apple).

^^ That is IMHO what iWeb is great for... a decent personal website which you can design for free.

I'd change the font of the links on the side and change the background to something whose pattern is more faint, if you get what I mean :)

That's a great site done with iWeb!

Haha, me I guess I'm lazy (or just new to webpage building) but I just used one of the templates to start a site with a blog. It's pretty generic I guess...I was just happy I got the whole webhosting setup to work.

If anyone wants to check it out it's http://patentairway.com. iWeb is great for the CSS/HTML challenged like myself!
