I can't believe how fast the Rev A's prices have fallen, I can't remember any other mac losing 40+% in value in 9months time.. Even, 4 year old PPC Mac mini's have held their value.

Worse actually, I have found MANY ebay used, but perfect condition AIRs that are 1.8 with SSD and they are only 700!!!!!!! Crazy right? But seriously, the REV B is soooo much better that its hard to sell "old" technology.

$700 is pushing it... I've not seen a single one w/SSD 1.8GB sell for less than $1300...

I'd looove to upgrade, but I'm waiting the 2 months to see what comes around at MWSF. Maybe they'll bring the Air in line with the new aesthetics (w/o a specs upgrade)… or perhaps they'll bring some other new portable action out.

Whatever - alls I know is, last time I got a Mac during an October release, they released other goodies that I wanted in January. Not worth the risk!

There isn't anywhere to go until the absolute soonest in summer 2009 for cpu for the air, and they are not, they CANNOT, do a major redesign and serve old cpu and same graphics card, they could maybe add a glass pad instead, but I doubt it, that should take a lot of re-engineering too. So thinking about it as rationally as possible, there wont BE a makbook air c revision until nov dec 2009 or early 2010
