For real.. I can't understand how someone could find the Incase difficult to use. He probably was the kid in kindergarten that tried to put the circle in the square.

I have the case and it couldn't be more simple to use.

I also had issues with this case. Some users apparently do not find the fit too tight but others do. There may be some variations with them.

Regardless, i would imagine that the fit is tight so the tolerances need to be low.

Or maybe i'm really stupid (could be) :D

I like the Case Logic 13" w/zipper (their first one) and storage area for my SD and whatnot ('09 version has a flip enclosure). Talked to the designers at MWSF '09 and they felt their first design was probably their favorite as well...:p

I bought the Case Logic 13" without the zipper because I didn't want to risk a scratch, but the Student Shuttle, with zipper, looks really cool as well.

Have you ever had any issues with the zipper? I wanted to get this one, but there were a few reviewers who had issues not with the zipper, but with the fit for the Air.

Thanks,

Jude

Hello,

I'm considering buying Elago's Premium Leather Sleeve Case for the MBA (info below) but I'd first appreciate hearing about your experience with this product, or anything else made by Elago. Thanks!

http://www.amazon.com/Apple-MacBook-Premium-Leather-Sleeve/dp/B00192MDFS

There are a lot of good choices out there, but b/c I already have an old Radtech sleeve (from a 12" PB) that I slip the MB Air in when I'm using a Kenneth Cole messenger bag, I needed a leather sleeve for those times when all I need to take home from work is the Air, without the bag. So I ordered the Elago yesterday from Amazon. Seems just what I was looking for - nice enough to take the Air in the sleeve by itself to the courthouse, library, or home for the evening, yet offering protection from scratches, bumps, etc.

I'll review it as soon as it arrives.

I can't wait for your review. I've been looking for a case/sleeve for a couple of weeks already and can't find the perfect case I want.

Case Logic has two versions of 13" sleeves. The XAS version is a little too big. I picked the XNS version from Buy.com on eBay for $15. it fits well (still a little loosen) compared with incase sleeve, but good enough.

I own the incase sleeve...not hard to "get into" at all, but the Marware one looks awesome!

both of those cases dont protect the entire MBA.......

I might be purchasing a MBA this friday (Hopefully a sale + $200 student discount) and Im looking at this one so far... http://goincase.com/products/detail/neoprene-sleeve-cl57148

I have this sleeve for my MBA and love it! So easy to slide in and out. I didn't want to get a case with a zipper, because I scratched my old laptop with one like that. Good choice!

The incase sleeve is really a tight fit, not as easy as people think to sue, especially after putting on a Speck hard care for double protection :) almost impossible to fit: :(

I received the sleeve from Amazon and it does exactly what I wanted it to do. The leather is of good to very good quality, it has a thin horizontal ribbed texture to it, and smells nice. The Air is a tight fit, as it should be, since there's no flap or closure at the top. Consequently, pulling the Air out - while not hard - isn't a matter of simply pulling it out - you kind of have to tug on it. Again, not a criticism just a reality check. I bought the sleeve to put the Air in it and take it and nothing more with me. I've already used it to take my Air to court with me. It worked great, and there's no other laptop that you can do that with. That's the beauty of the Air. You can carry it as if it were a portfolio and pad.

I highly recommend the Elago sleeve.
