Firstly, the solution above is completely the opposite of frictionless/user-friendly.

I have about 100,000 songs.

Whereas I'd love the limit to increase beyond 25,000, I would not mind if you could at least CHECK songs that you want in your itunes match, or make a playlist for itunes match.

The closest thing I have to a workaround is what someone suggested of creating a new itunes library with those 25,000 songs, but that's not optimal for many other reasons ...

Doubtful. When iTunes Match first launched I remember reading a review that mentioned that the 25,000 limit was set by the record labels, not Apple.
