Any of you guys regret buying the small air for lack of screen real estate?

Not harsh but realistic. No one can decide for the OP how much resolution he/she needs.
Really? It's an 11" screen! Either you want a screen that small or you don't. Somebody else's opinion on something like this is useless.

Imagine, someone asking for advice based on other people's experience.....how awful.
I would imagine that, as a poster above mentioned, you could always hook the Air up to an external monitor if you need the screen real estate for whatever reason.
The 11" MBA does have roughly the same real estate as the 13" MBP, if that gives you an idea, although it's 16:9 rather than 16:10
I don't think the screen real estate is a major buying decision.
I think the buying decision comes down to:
1) Those who want the smallest computer for portability, easy of carrying, and cool factor (11 inch).
2) Those who want a machine closer to the performance of a regular MacBook (13 inch).
I have not decided which category I fall in yet.

I owned a Revision 'B' MBA and loved it ... I finally sold it when I felt the updates were due. Then I waited, and waited, and waited some more.
I went to the Apple Store intending to buy the new 13" MBA, but I was swayed by the rave reviews and the actual user experience. I was almost to the point of purchasing an 11.6" machine and decided to sleep on it.
I went back to the Apple Store early this morning - thanks for being open at all hours, Fifth Avenue! - and tried both machines. While the 11.6" MBA is a fantastic little laptop, I could envision myself being continually frustrated by having to scroll down the screen in documents and webpages.
I finally handed over the cash for a 13" MBA. I have yet to open the box, however ... I guess I could be swayed yet again. Both are beautiful machines, and both are solid travel alternatives to my i5 15" MBP. That's all I want or could expect. Those thinking a $999 MBA should be some sort of supercomputer are bound to be forever disappointed in Apple.

Oh I see, so that's what you think...hmmm.. and you 've never asked anyone who bought a product before (a car, a tv, a fridge) what their experiences are, because for example when I was buying a tv all my friends told me go for a large one because they look deceptively larger than they are at the store and if you buy a smaller one and use it for a while you are probably going to regret not buying a larger one. As I said I probably shouldn't have replied to you because you apparently have an attitude issue, but anyway... I hope this thread does not go south because you decided to "contribute".
I didn't think the difference was very big when I held them in the apple store. It's only a 1,4 inch diference anyways.
For that reason I'd go with the 11,6 inch. It's a lot cheaper.

The OP's question was a valid one.
He was asking people who might have more experience with the screen than someone who used one at the Apple Store for a few minutes.
He was asking for opinions. We ask for and give a lot of opinions here. The guy's response was inappropriate and rude.
+1 It's a reasonable question. I too would like the 11" but some perspectives on whether the small screen works for people or not would be helpful.
What I don't understand is for those who don't think this is a reasonable thread why they bother to boast criticisms. Why not just SILENTLY move on?

This is the OP's 4th thread about the Air's screen in 5 days. Call me harsh, rude or whatever, but he really needs to just look at it himself.

It is your own opinion that will really determine what you'd like. It may take some playing at the store.
This question is the same as asking windows versus Mac. They are different but have followers on both sides.
If you are looking to see if the machine is flawed or missing features, that's understandable but 11 versus anything is basically personal preference in the end.
