Any regrets for not choosing in store pickup?

I originally ordered delivery, but canceled the same day and changed it to reserve for in store pickup. Glad I did, I met some really nice Apple fans.

Wyneken, what's the closest place you can pick one up locally?

Regrets? Oh yeah, I have regrets! 'Watched' the plane carrying my unit land at the airport 15 miles away at 5:45am yesterday and the package didn't get delivered until after 5pm that afternoon. Since I was the only one home, I had to stay there all day, waiting. I *knew* that the moment I left the house they would make a delivery attempt. It was a waste of a day.

So as a result of this I just canceled the pre-order on my 3G unit. I'd rather take my chances at the Apple Store than be held hostage again by UPS. The Apple rep on the phone warned me that I had no guarantee that I could get one at the store and I replied that I'd take my chances.
