Any way to get iTunes 10 to work on Tiger?

Just got a new iPod and it's not working with my version of iTunes. Do I really need to upgrade my OS just to get this iPod to work?

There is no way to get iTunes 10 working on Tiger. It lacks the proper frameworks.
