Kind of surprised by these comments. I have had the 256 OWC Aura for about a month, and not a single problem. Works like a charm--completely like the stock 128 I had in my 11 inch Air. Takes 10 minutes or less to install.

I installed an OWC 240 a couple months back and it's terrific. Lots more space and quite a bit faster. My xbench score went from 120 to over 140.

It was an easy install. Did a backup with SuperDuper to an external USB hard drive, took about 10 minutes to remove the bottom cover, swap the SSD and reinstall the bottom cover using the supplied tools. Then I booted off the SuperDuper backup and restored to the SSD. Took a while for OSX to rebuild the indexes but has been working like a charm since.

I'm normally pretty happy with OWC products and service and this was no exception. The extra space is terrific and the machine feels and benchmarks noticeably faster.

Someone who has installed OCW SSD said it is unreliable and unstable.
I wonder if it is true?
