iPad mini anybody knows why Otterbox abandoned iPad Mini 6 and refused to make a Defender case for it?

I bought one for my kids iPad years ago I liked them but found the screen protector would seem to leak things under neath it and get mucky.. anyone find this? maybe it’s just not Kid proof with their sticky fingers etc

This version does not have the built-in screen protector.
