Ok now I'm confused. My entire town is gone but I didn't uninstall. I can still see all my coins and bucks as well as population and level. But all my buildings are gone. Can someone go in and tell me what they can see? Booyah id 31876445

Server Problems?

I'm having lots of problems today too:
- Slow just to load the game or never loads.
- Screen goes blank and kicks me all the way out and lose about 30 minutes of progress/coins. :(
- If I am in the game and go visiting other towns, system message says that I need to check my connection.
- Server is extremely slow to do what I want/screen change
- Jerkiness (stop and go) to the game

I just got kicked out again...

eta: I managed to get back on--There is open green space, but your town is empty of all buildings and businesses.

Now, 1ST OF ALL, this works for me on my IPOD. I too, changed my loccation from Paaducah, Ky/Carbondale, Il,area. I went to my settings (Someone may have to help me out here) clicked on My Town 2 app that showd my home town of Elizabethtown, Il I turned that off. I then went to the game menu and clicked on "Store">Business search>Then in the "Near" search box I scrolled down till I found New York City that was already listed. I clicked on New York City.
I would then go find a "mayor friend" that I looked around for that was close to New York. I knew I was in the rightr area because the towns that I visited the business (franchises) were all converted to coins, not buck. If all are bucks, you might be inthe right state, but out of a certain radius range I guess Booyah put a radius on is my guess.
Now, sometimes just when I might soimetime go and revisit and redo some homework and head scratching, my known NY town might show all "BUCKS"!.....OMG.......dont panic like I did. +++++++++I just back into my business search, typed in NYC, scrolled down to NYC on the blue screen and tapped on it. When I then went back to revisit the town I wanting/trying to franchise all the "BUCKS" all the bucks had changed back over to coins, and I knew I was back in the NY area again.
OH. I have to admited one thing........I DID CHEAT......I got my mothers ATLAS out that she tought me as a kid. We would travel the world at night to another place. Yep, I used the ATLAS to see what towns would be closest to what ever was listed on the blue search screen. There are some areas of NY I have found are are far enough away from NYC Go buy Atlas. Mine was under the couch cushion as long as I growing up..:) I hope this might help

IPOD snap shot...Just in case..?

You all have read where I am a firm beleiver of you all using your equipment to post shots of different screens on here.
My question is on my IPOD IF our screens should start acting up, and we need proof to send to Booyah for backup so they might fix some of the lost coins/information. Can a screen shot be made from a IPOD and how would you use your IPOD to take a pic of your screen to send to Booyah

I have my IPOD on me at all times, now. Mostly in my pocket. Talk about 75% obsessed. I go back to work reality tomarrow. Will have to check in tomarrow night.

I have an iPhone 4s and an iPad. Screenshots for both are very easy to take, and I would think the same would work for the Ipod Touch.
Just press the top (sleep/power) button and the home (square icon) button at the same time. The screenshot should end up in your camera roll (Photos app). Tap on the image and you can share via sms, email, etc.​
 
FYI...Poor internet signal in some areas.

I live in an area that sometimes the signal is not real good or sometime you have to "Top" that hill to get your signal back.
I have found when I leave my house I MAKE SURE my My Town 2 game application is on the game site when I leave. Then, If I get to an area where can't get a signal ( bad spot,school gym with no password access, traveling down the highway, etc) MAKE SURE you DO NOT stop the game and switch to another app or the IPOD will not let you reopen up MY Town 2 game. Your done till your reach internet access and start the game again. Even when you are out of internet range, and you keep playing the game, it will accumulate your coins/bucks. It wont let me pull up any towns to visit or do any check-ins but that is ok. I still can play the game where ever I go. I power off the off button to the IPOD, turn it back on and the game still be there to play. JUst DONT hit your home button and go to another app or you will loose the game to play.......
Hope this makes playing funner, and more addicting......

Happened to me, as well. I was able to see the list of my friends, but when I tried to load one of the towns the app would timeout and tell me to check my connection. Now, the town comes up, but it's just very slow.

It's been so long Since I bought a "WONDER". I forgot about them. If I get a few more bucks I will definately be able to add some of them to help me expand. Anyone want to take a look at my town, again, and give your best suggestion as to what wonder to buy next, please. Any financial advisors amoung us.......? Thanks.

When I had trouble again last week, I notified my2support@booyah.com and complained.
That night midnight there was the new update. Seems like it happens on the weekends.......Maybe tomarrow it be better......

Popularity.. not really

Today, I discovered a town with a restaurant in San Francisco with 150K popularity. I was able to franchise it with 1.5 million coins. But the thought that ran through my mind was, "This must be a great place to dine. I should check it out."

I looked it up on Google. Turns out it got a 2 star rating on Yelp, the last review was from 2006, and the place has closed down. So, how did this place get 150K popularity in the game? Well, I'll just leave it as a fluke.

If anyone is interested in franchising this place, it's called Folk Look Restaurant and it's in my town now. :)

Here is a screenshot of your town from my perspective. Population of 2910, but no structures of any kind. Some kind of bug. You'll probably want to send a message to Booyah, if you haven't already.

Wow weird! I'm so confused, if I have to start over again for the second time, I quit.

My screen shot is different, I can still still all my coins, bucks, population, and XP. My population was over 90k but now its 2910.

On the right is the error I got when I logged in.

Same to me 3 hours ago. Seems like its working fine now. I'm able to visit other towns finally for the first time today. Not sure what's going on with the server.

I'm sorry the towns a wreak guys.. I had to use subways to get my stores and am just now going to start decorating.. Anyone with bucks to spare would be a huge help to my fun.. Heehee! Thanks to the people who are helping those of us who don't have dollars :)
