For franchising, I think if the business is in your vicinity, you can buy with coins. Once you franchise outside of your state/province/country, it costs bucks. If someone franchises you and pays bucks, you get bucks, pays coins get coins.

Sorry man to hear about your town. From what I have read, others contaacted Booyah, sent them info, (? by screen). Booyah sent out a letter forums back about telling what to do if you have trouble like that.....give it a try. Sure as heck not gonna hurt. Others were surprised with help from Booyah......Just have to go back and look for posting...... By the way, what is your town name? I think I just sent you a gift.......Good luck.

I've managed to climb to #16 in overall popularity by reading this thread. Thanks for all of the great tips everyone. I have over a billion coins, but could definitely use some bucks. ANYONE PLEASE check out my stats. I think the next move I need to do is maybe sell off my low less popul business and replace some of them with the same business but with higher popul? BUT.......I need LOTS LOTS LOTS LOTS LOTS of coins. Rightr now I am in the NY York area. I would like to replace my starbucks, pizza hut, and want the New york times, but I haveing trouble buying. I thank cany kiss and mouchey and anyone else today for helping me today. I'd catch up on my progress an a bread in the little girls room.......
I have a Tiffany's at level 10 but it has not been franchised, yet I think....I am really working hard to make it a top notch business with everyone's help. Thank to everyone.....Any currency will be put to good use.

Mine kept crashing and when finally got in, it was wiped out. I can still see my coins, bucks and Xp.
