Yup!Exactly, just it is LastPass. Maybe "plugin" is not the best term. So they work the same?

Yup!
1Password has a 30 day trial, so give them a shot. Thanks for checking it out and the feedback. I want to switch, but as clunky as LP is, I have gotten used to it. I am strongly considering it. It's the breach that has me concerned the most.
Yeah this was a factor for me as well. Surprising how many people don't know this (at least in my circle of friends/family).

Well, I am already up and running and everything imported from LP! Had to re-do form fills, but that's ok. I like the UI. Questions:Soon you will be kicking yourself for not trying it sooner.
I’m having problems with the Safari extension. It launches my vault and hangs. Works fine with Chrome. Anyone see this issue?
Canceling LP today. Guessing my year in full won’t be prorated for refund? Goes until August.
Are you saying to open the extension in safari on a Mac and put in your master password in that and not launching the actual app itself?Still looking for a way to launch "My Vault" from the Chrome or Safari extension. Not a huge deal, but I got used this from the LP extension?
Same here. I did love how cheap LastPass was, but I always found it a little clunky. Now I'm sharing a family plan with my wife, who's not very tech-oriented, and 1Password works nicely for her. The subscription price is... on the higher side, but frankly if the purchase price gets me out of having to help her figure out even a few lost passwords a year, it's absolutely worth it to meI started having problems with LastPass last year - similar to what you've explained. I had coworkers and friends with similar problems. When I couldn't get a needed password when I was out and about with my iPhone that was the last straw -- switched to 1Password. It is much happier with Safari - and works well on Windows on my work machine. It's a little bit more expensive but I've got my wife and several family members on the family plan. A lot happier and it is a lot more consistent at remembering / filling in passwords.

Cool, now I'm paid up for 2.6 years. Thanks!1Password has gift cards. The one they are selling a $125 for $99

And I feel the same way about paying the subscription price. I have my mom (who locks herself out, and because of the subscription, I got her back in), my daughter, wife, and father in law on the plan.
Nice! I am on it. I am hoping they charges start after my 30 day trial if I do it now.1Password has gift cards. The one they are selling a $125 for $99

Sorry, probably not being clear. With Last Pass, when you clicked the extension in the toolbar, it would drop down with a list of option/actions. One was "Open Vault". Selecting this launched a new tab and brought you to the web interface where you could manage, search, copy passwords, etc.Are you saying to open the extension in safari on a Mac and put in your master password in that and not launching the actual app itself?
Nice, thank you. Request for refund submitted and $125 for $99 applied to my new 1Password account.
Looks solid never heard of it though. I don’t mind paying for a known product when it comes to security. iOS integration is important for me too.I used LastPass before and the hacks scandal pushed me to jump off its ship.
I am using Cyclonis password manager (https://www.cyclonis.com/products/password-manager/). Except for no mobile app now (I sync the password vault on iCloud and it's not a big problem for that), its app and integrated browser extension works great. Plus, it's free without any premium version for now.
Never had the problem you're having and have been using it for years. I will note, that I do not use the binary extension version on the last pass site, only the one from the Apple Extension Gallery. I also have the full app installed on my MBP and my iMac. (I recall lastpass being down for a day a while back and not being able to access stuff, so I like having a vault saved.)
I will say, their customer support is kind of a joke, whether you're a premium user or not. Also, I hate that when I clear the history of Safari, my browser extension logs out. I used to be able to bypass that by locking the db files, but it no longer works.
The price of 1Password seems steep in comparison.
Thanks, seems complicated.I just saw this, 1Password now has 2 step authentication

Very easy to set up. I recommend using the Authy app. You can have 2FA setup in 5 minutes or less. Thanks, seems complicated.
