Hi,

anybodys custom configured mac mini late 2012 already shipped? I ordered mine just after the event.

I ordered mine about 2 hours after the event & I'm looking at a 7-10 day processing time with another 2-3 days for delivery.

2.6GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7
4GB 1600MHz DDR3 SDRAM - 2x2GB
1TB Fusion Drive

Dispatched: 7- 10 business days Delivers 08 Nov, 2012 - 13 Nov, 2012.

Ordered mine an hour after the event, 2.6GHz with nothing else improved.
Expecting delivery November 5th-7th. Hooray for Apple Europe.

My speed-bumped midrange model shipped from China this morning. Delivery scheduled for Wednesday by 10:30 AM.

When do they actually CHARGE your credit card? I want to buy, but I have to wait until November 1, when my new billing cycle kicks in...

My AMEX was authorized when I ordered it and the charge shows in pending transactions. But that's what shows on the website. It may have posted by now.

Thanks, RaceTripper - I guess that makes sense. I'd hoped they wouldn't charge until they shipped, but I guess if you BTO it, you bought it...

I can confirm this. Mine was the same way.

Ordered and got the email notification from my credit card provider that there was a transaction for the amount of the order.

When I ordered my rMBP it didn't get charged until it shipped. But the Mac Mini is being treated differently here.

No big deal to me, but just as an FYI for other users here.

Ordered mine 2 days ago. Shipped 2day with estimated delivery in germany on 31st :)

...and it arrived Memphis this morning, and has now departed from there (I'm in St. Louis, 290 miles away). It still shows a Wednesday delivery, but I expect it might arrive early, maybe Tuesday or even tomorrow.

Server model with upgraded processor. Ordered the day after the event and it shipped a couple of days later, from China. Delivers on the 1st.

Ordered mine just after midnight on the 25th, about 36 hours after initial release. Mid-level upgraded to 2.6 GHz i7. FedEx said it was scheduled for delivery on the 31st. So imagine my surprise when the nice FedEx lady rang the doorbell this morning. The mini is sitting on my desk now, but I haven't hooked it up yet - have to go to work.:rolleyes:

It's probably just as well - none of the accessories/upgrades are here yet (memory, SSD, external drives).

One thing that surprised me - I didn't realize there was a HDMI to DVI adapter in the box. It's probably mentioned somewhere in the fine print online, but I missed that. I ordered a HDMI to DVI cable from Monoprice last week, but no big deal - it was only about $3.50. ;)

...and mine was just delivered.

That's pretty fast considering it left Shenzhen Friday afternoon.

Mine shipped this morning!

No fusion, 2.6i7 with Ssd

I'm rather curious to see a geekbench of that, preferably 64-bit. I keep looking but haven't seen any results for this model yet. You may be one of the first to have the opportunity, seems most of us ordered with the fusion drive and are having to be very patient !

I ordered mine with 8 GB of ram which I hear many don't disagree with. I have several reasons. Firstly, it's probably enough for my needs for now. I'd rather not mess with internals during the first few months. I'll buy new ram when I notice a need for it, probably cheaper than today and perhaps I'll have the option of 16 GB sodimms by then. I'll then have 2 spare 4 GBs which will be handy in one of my other systems. People who order new minis with only 4 GB and upgrade to other ram are left holding 2 x 2GB sodimms which wouldn't be very useful to me at all. The extra 100 works out ok although there's no way I'd consider paying 300 for the 2 x 8 GBs :apple:

EDIT: As luck would have it a few geekbench scores just rolled in: http://browser.primatelabs.com/geekbench2/1215648

My wife informed me a bit ago that mine was delivered. Server with 2.6i7, 16gb ram, 2x 256 SSD. Now just waiting on everything else. According to UPS 3 of the 4 packages are scheduled for delivery today. One I know is the TBD due to the weight. I also ordered Magic Mouse, Magic Trackpad, Keyboard w/ keypad, Superdrive and Applecare.

One veered off from the others and has now been sitting since Friday without moving but says it is scheduled to deliver tomorrow. Hoping its either Applecare or Superdrive but I have keyboards and mice so I can get by without them. TBD is important due to upgrading from iMac.

It would be handy if folks reply with order date, ship date and receive date.

"Just got it!" doesn't mean much in the context of this thread.
