Anyone bought accessories for the watch already?

I would like to order a black sports band to use with my SS Link. They do have the guy in the picture getting the Link wet and I know Stainless is easily cleanable so could possibly wait. I definitely want to wear the watch in the gym. I was excited when I realized my gym has pretty good wifi so I can leave my phone in the locker and not miss anything important. I will probably do a custom reply that I can send that says 'in the gym. will get back to you soon'.
Those concerned about bands not available on day 1... don't jump to either conclusion. When iPad launched, there was a delay on availability of the official black case. But, it wasn't much of a delay. Since watches will be sold in predetermined case/band combinations, they could easily have stock of all combinations but no separate extra bands right at first. You don't know until things start selling.
That doesn't mean you can't plan to buy these things as soon as they are available. Since I plan to order online, it will be nothing but a matter of receiving the items as they become available, if not available at the same time. No big deal.
I plan to get a SS + Black Leather and at least the sport band for cycling. Kind of on the fence on other options at the moment. Also, really not paranoid about being too lazy to switch bands. Sounds like someone is projecting a personal issue on everybody else

I plan on buying an extra sport band, probably the blue, and getting an extra charger for work. I'm haven't decided on sport or SS but I know I'm getting a white band with it. I work at a desk job and hit the gym after. I'll get the extra charger so I can give it an hour or so of charge before I leave. My work schedule is 12-9pm so I'll most likely need it before I leave.

I for one am not worried about switching bands at all. Specially seeing how's easy apple made the process (one button) instead of having to go to a jeweler to have a band switched.
I am planning to get the SS with the SS band which I will wear for work when I am suited and booted and then swop the band for either a leather or sport band for weekend for a casual look
Oh my gosh! That is so true!! Thank you for reminding me. I'll order my two SS with leather bands. Then separately order the black rubber band and extra cable. Thanks again for the reminder.
I am going to buy the SS with Black Sport Band, since it comes with two size bands I will probably try and trade the S/M version for a L White Sport.
This way I can swap between black and white depending on the mood. Black will probably be my go to though.

First you stated that bands may not be for sale on launch, with no proof, now this "one size fits all fastener" that has never been discussed to my knowledge? Apple clearly states two bands on their website:

No disrespect but if you are going to post these things please post links to your sources before you start causing confusing
It's not just me who are of the opinion that it might come with two bands (one S/M and one M/L) and a fastener. Since there's no evidence that the fastener will come in two different sizes this remains a prediction.

If you go to purchase a sport band separate it also shows:
Two bands: one SmallMedium band, one MediumLarge band
I think this is pretty definitive at this point
Yes, it's definitive you'll get two bands, but not necessarily two fasteners (which is the only way trading in a spare strap for a different color is possible). That's why I wrote the post that you quoted.

You're gonna get a lot of stick for this. People seem to get offended at the suggestion of cases or protectors.
I personally am with those people that the watch will look pretty ridiculous with a case or screen protector but each to their own!
I picked up a sport strap on the side of my Milanese watch but that's it so far. Also ordered the nomad charging stand a couple of weeks ago.
yup i know that. just curious of how many people are buying. I'm prob just getting a clear screen protector so the oleophobic coating on the watch doesn't wear off that quickly with heavy use..

I bought some screen protectors a few weeks ago and they have already arrived. Skinomi was the brand IIRC. Is was a pack of 6 for $10 available for the 42 and 38mm. I can put up with scratches on a screen protector, but I cannot with the scratches on the glass because then I know my toy has been ruined.
