iPad Pro Anyone buying new 12.9 mainly for media consumption with light computer tasks on the side?

Honestly, buy and use it how you please - overkill perhaps on a technical and financial level, but if you want a large iPad the Pro is all there is!

The iPad Air is still fairly large. The 12.9" iPad Pro is still the largest, but the iPad Air is no exception.

I am now considering a 256gb 12.9”, will see if I can order one through Apple tomorrow and have it delivered. If the 12.9” isn’t available, I‘ll go with the 11” same storage.

I use my iPads for art, some PDF mark up and a lot of consumption (Reading watching movies, streaming D+, surfing.)

I got it for media consumption mostly. Movies, TV, anime, music, web browsing, photo editing as my hobby, creative writing, etc. It’s going to be well worth it to me. Always has been with every other iPad I’ve ever owned. I have a Samsung 4K TV that’s about 3 years old or so and I just like watching content on an iPad more. The XDR display is going to be awesome, and there’s just something inherently personal about watching content on an iPad. I love it!

I can bring my content wherever I want to hang out, instead of being forced to “sit in front of the TV”.
