Not at this point... I am currently in college and can't really do without my laptop.

However, upon graduation I intend on purchasing an iMac and consequently use my iPad as my primary mobile device. At that point I shouldn't need a fully featured mobile computer.

I'll probably keep my 2007 MacBook Pro forever, though. After all, it was my first Mac!

That's what I said about my 128k Mac back in 1984...."I'll keep this forever"....wish I did but that's another story....

My Toshiba laptop died on me, I REALLY wanted a MBP but in the interest in trying to save some green I got a 36G iPad since my laptop was used 90% for surfing the web. We'll see if it works out. If not I guess I can sell it and go for the MBP after that.

I will not sell my MBP 17" until it dies and since I closed my photography business I do not need the power of another MBP but I will probably purchase a Macbook. That will compliment my i7 iMac and will be taken on trips where I may need to upload raw files, edit and burn a CD/DVD. I will always take my iPad.

Was in the laptop market considering a purchase. iMac main machine, PC about to die.. Utility may be closer to a netbook. About 90% leaning toward an iPad. Noodling the 3g or wifi only. I noodle for quite a while on discressionary spend...

So if it was an option on your poll, laptop off the table. Not buying one now..

Wife's iPhone is used quite a bit for email, internet, and calendar. When the dust settles upgrading her to an iPhone 4 and my holding off my son's requests (and hard earned allowance savings) for an iPod Touch until Sept. May even holding off my purchase of a Mac Mini (new Plasma TV and holding off apple TV to see what shakes out there..)

What's also off the table is me being considered an "early adopter." I'm still a total PC convert to mac either way you cut it..

TMI? Maybe but sure helped me sort out my thoughts so thanks for listening;-)
