I didn't care when The Beatles came to itunes, and i still don't, it's nothing special, when 4.2 released and it was on the homepage i was relieved, but then the next day it was back to the flippin' Beatles again.

hopefully they release the Mac App Store soon, so they will have something else to put on the home screen.

am I the only one who is sick of seeing The bloody Beatles every time i go to Apple.com (/uk)

bah!

I don't like looking at them either. They were fine for a day but I want to see high-tech, shiny stuff on the apple main page.

Have you nothing better to do than to see what Apple displays on their home page every day?

I don't go to the iTunes store or Apple.com enough to get sick of whatever they have on the home pages.

im not going on the site to look at the home page, its just thats what you go through to get to what you're looking at

yes. they are tired old dinosaurs.

so much amazing new rock out there that isn't this same, hippy crap. likewise, let all the pop-schlock beatles derivative rock die, too.

blech.

+1 ... when I do go there , it is to check products and pricing.

It is only a home page ... Let it Be

I am never bothered by whatever is on their home page.

I don't go on the apple website enough to even care. And even if I did... I doubt I'd care. Seriously, who cares?

I am always amused when I see another thread pop up saying this
I don't go to the Apple page that often, but when I do, I rarely look at what is on the page
I have a specific reason I am going and just move on

Its not like they Rick-roll you and force you to sit there listening to "I Get By With a Little Help from My Friends" or anything
Come to think of it, that would be pretty funny

Why do you need to look at Apple's website every day? I doubt much has changed.

Considering how much media exposure the Beatles have had over the past 50-odd years, I find it strange that their appearance on iTunes should represent the last straw for anyone even casually familiar with the Beatles. They've been annoying me as far back as I can remember...nothing new here.

who said i look at the Apple website every day? - i don't.

Luckily? I am in my late twenties and I would have loved to have had the opportunity to see the Beatles in their day. In fact, if I could time travel and could only choose between the Beatles and Woodstock, I would choose the Beatles

I'm in my late forties and so I was around in the early seventies when the beatles were just about to break up. Being exposed to them for so long, means that this whole itunes thing with them is a under whelming.

I agree w the OP, and I'm sic of seeing John Lennon for the last two weeks all over CNN.com. Jeez, the guy's dead... it's been in a few papers. Stop pushing aside real news just to tell us what a wonderful guy you think he was.
