Beatles = obsolete.

I know Steve is the right demographic to hold them in high regard, but I'm 40 and I don't like them. I'm sure the younger generation cares even less for them than I do.

IT'S STUPID AND POINTLESS.

It really makes Steve look bad because we all know the page exists just for his own bragging rights. Sometimes I wonder about that guy... I don't even like the Beatles.

I'm sick of seeing Apple Inc. products on the apple.com website.

I want to see some fruit: red delicious, granny smith, fuji, pink lady, etc.

Come on, Apple. Give us the goods.

Yeah... having the Beatles on the Apple website makes Steve look really bad. All just for bragging rights. Oh wait.. how many thousands of Beatles albums have they sold so far?

Yeah I am sick of seeing the beatles as well. They were a good band and I still enjoy hearing them every now and then but I don't think its necessary to flood iTunes store and the home page with them. Apple: you are not going to make your $$ by advertising a dead band- you make your $$ by showing the world the latest and greatest apple products! Show me the iPhone 5 prototype. Show me upcoming releases/developments.

You just couldn't let it die a quiet death, could you? :)

I am very tired of all this Beatles stuff. They sucked then, they sucked a decade ago, and they suck now.

I guess the real question is why hasn't Apple changed the picture yet? Or at the very least rotate it with something else.

nobody cares what you think

i think they left it there too long. kind of was a gamble if people already had enough beatles by then or not, with the remasters just coming out. i think now after being on itunes you can really say that people are beatles saturated. i know i am. i can barely listen to them any more.

I didn't care when The Beatles came to itunes, and i still don't, it's nothing special, when 4.2 released and it was on the homepage i was relieved, but then the next day it was back to the flippin' Beatles again.

hopefully they release the Mac App Store soon, so they will have something else to put on the home screen.

am I the only one who is sick of seeing The bloody Beatles every time i go to Apple.com (/uk)

bah!

No....

When I call my local Apple Store, the beeatles music plays too.
A bit too pushy Apple with the beatles. Most people who like the Beatles already have their music; no need to be so pushy.

I'm still confused on why anyone gives a **** about what Apple puts on their website.

As for the Beatles thing, Apple has a right to be proud. This is possibly one of the biggest music industry deal in the last decade. Music industry forums have gone insane with excitement over it. Tech forums naturally slag it off because it isn't tech based.

Anybody else sick of seeing the Air on Apple's website?
They introduced it waaaaay back and yet it is featured on the front page
As a MBP user, I have no interest in the Air

Why not put something different on the page, like the Beatles... yeah, yeah, yeah
They have been gone from the front page for weeks
